Mike Roy

Partner and Head of Analytics

Mike is the founder and head of Clearview’s Advanced Analytics group. He has spent his career developing and executing data science techniques in the life sciences, with a focus on commercialization within bio-pharma. His prior research has yielded improvements in physician/account targeting and segmentation, patient finding, patient adherence, KOL identification, forecasting, promotional response modeling, epidemiology, and measuring payer impact.

Prior to joining ClearView, Mike led C1 Consulting’s (now Charles River Associates Life Sciences) advanced analytics group. At C1 Consulting, Mike developed proprietary algorithms in the areas of social network analysis, unary classification, and variable interpretation. Additionally, he oversaw the technical development and application of advanced Bayesian models and custom, interactive visualizations.

Mike received his B.S. in Mathematics, B.S. in Applied Statistics, and Minor in Economics from Penn State University and his M.S. in Operations Research from Columbia University.
