Brian Quinn

Managing Director

Brian is a member of ClearView’s leadership team with over 18 years’ experience in the life sciences. His primary focus is advising private equity and other principal investor clients throughout the deal lifecycle, including thesis development, deal generation, and due diligence. He has supported equity and debt strategies across various buyout, growth, and credit situations, as well as engaging with portfolio companies on growth strategy, bolt-on acquisitions, and sell-side due diligence prior to exit. In addition, he advises corporate clients, particularly through business or corporate development teams, on M&A, licensing, and divestitures. Across clients, his expertise spans both innovative and generic drugs as well as pharma services, particularly manufacturing and outsourced research businesses.

Immediately prior to joining ClearView, Brian built and led the US financial institutions consulting practice at IQVIA, scaling the team from 2 to 20 colleagues. Previously, he was a vice president in the life sciences strategy and PE practice at EY-Parthenon and first entered the consulting world via a previous tour at ClearView. Earlier in his career, he worked in R&D at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where he contributed to the development of two approved medicines, and at Boston Children’s Hospital, where he studied axon regeneration in vivo.

His education includes a B.A. in English (citation in Italian) from Harvard University and an M.S. in microbiology, with a focus on antibacterial drug resistance, from Rutgers / UMDNJ. He lives on the Upper East Side of New York with his wife, daughter, and (of course) goldendoodle.
