Analyst
Overview of the Role
Analysts play an important role in the success of each engagement, actively contributing to our analyses and final recommendations. Most frequently, Analysts take ownership of a particular part of the problem solving and are ultimately responsible for presenting findings to the client.
Who Should Apply?
Experienced Analyst candidates have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the life sciences and at least one year of experience in life sciences consulting.
Entry level Analyst candidates are completing either a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the life sciences and have demonstrated interest in the life sciences industry.

Senior Analyst
Overview of the Role
Senior Analysts have greater independence and project management responsibilities than Analysts. A Senior Analyst may oversee an Analyst’s workstream in addition to problem solving on their own workstream and will often present recommendations directly to clients.
Growing into the Role
Movement into the Senior Analyst position occurs when an Analyst has mastered the analytical skills required to create meaningful analyses and is capable of taking full ownership of their workstream.

Senior Analyst candidates have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the life sciences and over one and a half years of experience in life sciences consulting.

Consultant
Overview of the Role
Consultants lead day-to-day project-related activities and develop the methodologies and analyses employed to solve client problems. Consultants play a leading role in synthesizing conclusions and formulating recommendations for clients.
Growing into the Role
ClearView believes strongly in a system of merit-based promotions which enable capable Senior Analysts to grow into the Consultant role and beyond without having received an advanced degree. Growth into the Consultant role signifies that a Senior Analyst has developed the ability to understand the client’s needs and drive to strategic implications.

Growing into the Role
Promotion to Engagement Manager is earned by Senior Consultants who excel at working on multiple projects simultaneously. They already act as valuable mentors to their more junior team members and are ready to take on a more official project lead role.
Responsibilities
Engagement Managers work with our project teams and directly with key clients to implement a broad vision for each project and ensure that needs of our clients are met. Engagement Managers also serve as mentors and coaches for project team members to promote professional development and project success.
Associate Principal
Overview of the Role
Associate Principals have demonstrated leadership and well-developed consulting skills on a variety of project types. They have typically demonstrated expertise in leading teams internally and engaging and driving client relationships.
Growing into the Role
Engagement Managers who have begun to build client relationships by understanding and anticipating client needs are ready to move into the Associate Principal role. These individuals are often requested directly by clients because of their expertise and strategic insights.
Responsibilities
Associate Principals leverage their extensive experience to provide thought leadership and project impact broadly across engagements and project teams, including those which they do not directly oversee. Furthermore, Associate Principals gain exposure to business development in the organization in preparation for the Principal role.
Leadership
Overview of the Roles
Principals and Managing Directors are key senior leaders in the organization, working to build and maintain client relationships as a thought leader and business partner.
Growing into the Roles
Associate Principals are ready to join the Leadership team when they have built trust with clients and an understanding of the life sciences industry that allows them to initiate and drive projects without the guidance of other leadership members. They are thought leaders in the life sciences space who are ready to act as strategic thought partners for their clients.
Responsibilities
As a Principal or Managing Director at ClearView, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of client support, from business development to project oversight. Additionally, Principals and Managing Director are core members of the ClearView leadership team, working closely with the Partners and other Principals and Managing Directors to refine the future vision for ClearView.
