With an FDA approval in a CNS indication, our client sought a robust commercial opportunity assessment of their wearable medical device in additional CNS indications to inform and guide future investment decisions.
The client valued ClearView’s deep expertise within MedTech markets across several therapeutic areas, including commercial opportunity assessments, launch sequencing, and pricing and market access evaluations in the CNS space.
ClearView developed a robust and structured framework to assess the potential opportunity of the technology in select CNS indications. We researched core disease information, such as current and future landscapes and treatment paradigms. After solidifying our understanding of the diseases, we layered in other commercial considerations, such as pricing, reimbursement, and the competitive environment.
We synthesized this information to identify value drivers and barriers to adoption of the wearable device in order to facilitate demand forecasting scenarios. We ultimately created a dynamic Excel-based forecast with an intuitive user interface to help project future adoption and revenue of the technology.
ClearView’s analysis was utilized to assess peak penetration for the technology, identify target patient segments, evaluate key areas of opportunity and risk, and guide large investment decisions. Additionally, we developed actionable strategic recommendations to address barriers to adoption and maximize future market potential of the client’s technology.
