ClearView Cares / Wellness

ClearView Cares is an internal initiative that aims to further instill and expand social responsibility within ClearView’s culture and core values through sustained relationships with local healthcare-focused organizations, commitment to regular service opportunities, optimization of ClearViewers skills and experiences for the benefit of local communities, and increased awareness of key causes to inspire further engagement within and beyond ClearView.

Community Events

Cradles to Crayons

We volunteered at one of the Giving Factories for Cradles to Crayons where we helped quality-check, sort, and package donations for distribution. Cradles to Crayons provides essential items to low-income or homeless children from birth through age 12

BioBall

BioBall is a fundraising event for Special Olympics, where individuals with intellectual disabilities participate and experience the joy of sports! The CV team spent the day leading a station about basketball techniques and enjoyed connecting with the Special Olympics community in Boston!

Hope for NY

CVers in NYC cooked and served breakfast to the homeless at Father’s Heart through an organization called Hope for New York

Toy Drive

For Christmas, we donated toys to families in Boston and had a little house competition, with Fun Bus donating the most toys!

Cycle for Survival

Cycle for Survival is a fundraising event where money is raised for rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering and participants come together for an in-person stationary-cycling event. 20 ClearViewers in Boston participated as riders in the event and the NY office held a pancake social to raise money!

CV Cares / Wellness

The Wellness team works closely with CV Cares to promote the mental and physical wellness of ClearView employees through initiatives such as mental health awareness panels and workshops, sports leagues, and group workout classes, among others

Yoga

During our Yoga and Meditation class, the group had a wonderful time stretching, meditating, and definitely not falling asleep during the last 10 minutes of Yoga Nidra body scan.

Tennis / KickBall

CV Cares / Wellness has organized a spring kickball league and casual summer tennis for the Boston office. It’s been great having so many ClearViewers get some fun exercise on the field/court, and we’re looking forward to seeing more people during our summer Tennis Tuesdays.

Pumpkin Carving Contest

For Halloween, we had a pumpkin carving contest with prizes for winners in each of the four categories: Cutest, Spookiest, Most Creative, and Best Carved pumpkin (some winners below!)

National Pet Day

In honor of National Pet Day on April 11, service dogs from GOFIDOG (Golden Opportunities for Independence) came by the office!

ClearView Green

Beach Day Cleanup

On April 23rd, CR/Wellness organized for Boston ClearViewers to participate in the Annual Earth Day Charles River Cleanup. 15 employees came out on a beautiful, sunny Saturday afternoon to Auburndale Park in Newton and picked up 15 bags worth of trash (one per person)! Some of the most interesting finds included a baseball pitching mound, car headlight, and a beach ball. We were so happy to help give back to and preserve the beauty of our local community, and look forward to (hopefully) participating again next year!

Earth Day Plant Making

For Earth Day, SF and NYC offices made succulent gardens for their desks!
